Stuck

“Yeah, actually, there is,” I told him.
“Well, I’m all ears,” he turned to face me completely.
I took a deep breath, “Actually, you know, it isn’t that big of a deal. It’s nothing. Really.”
“No, no, no, tell me,” he pushed.
“Okay, well, uhm, it’s about Josh,” I said slowly.
Mitch raised his eyebrows, “What about him?”
“Well, that I saw him,” I said, “on Monday. After we hung out.”
“And?” Mitch prompted.
“And he talked to me.”
“You didn’t talk to him, did you?”
“No, no I didn’t.”
“Well…”
“What?”
“Nothing. It’s just, did you want to talk to him?”
Honestly, I really did want to say something to Josh on Monday. I couldn’t though. I couldn’t after what had happened. Just seeing him made me feel nervous and scared. It would be even harder to just say hi.
So what do I say to Mitch?
Will he even care?
I mean, he was interested in what I had to tell him about Josh just now, but how would he feel if he knew I actually wanted to talk to Josh?
I was stuck in quite a predicament…
