Hear Ye, Hear Ye: Winners of the Out-of-Order Challenge (Part 1)
Judging is definitely the hardest part any time I post a challenge. The fun part is the reading! =)
I wasn’t sure how successful this particular challenge would be, but many of you rallied and provided some entertaining and interesting stories. Thanks to all who entered!
For such an unorthodox challenge, I have to give equally unorthodox categories when judging:
Best Surprise Ending
Identity Crisis by Mistress Elsha Hawk
The pacing was spot-on in this series, building up to the fantastic surprise ending.
Most Suspenseful Series
The Extra Bag by Browncoatben
I was literally on the edge of my seat while reading this. It made for a very suspenseful read.
Best Characterization
The Aftermath by Russell Ruffino
The film Pulp Fiction inspired this challenge, and I felt like the characters in this series could’ve easily fit into that movie, too. Awesome dialogue also.
Most Unexpectedly Humorous
Where Am I by John Perkins
This series will keep you laughing despite its often tense moments.
