“I will not be without my prey,” His eyes burned and his voice boomed throughout the halls sending fear through all gathered.
The Hisskan brought Benny in shackles. I smiled as the accountant beheld Demonias’ great majesty for the first time. He wept openly. This pleased the Dark Lord.
“My new toy!”
“Yes, My Lord,” I answered, “I beseech you to accept this offer. He will be easy prey for the young seeker!”
“A thoughtful gift! A wise choice. I grant you your Right!”
I glowed. It was time. This is what I’d come to do. Redemption would be mine if I played this right.
