The first time I saw the velociraptors site (http://www.velociraptors.info), I got a good chuckle out of the tongue in cheek humor about preventing velociraptor attacks. The small site, written with an eye towards Jurassic Park, was like an unexpected but refreshing breeze as I trudged around the web.

Two days later, however, police got a huge break in the case of the three Loudoun County teenagers who had gone missing late last December. When blurred photos of the bodies started circulating around in email, suddenly the thought of velociraptors attacking humans wasn’t funny at all.
