Red {Part 2 - Unexpected Twist Challenge}
Ring
Red… Warm soothing red… My heart hammers sharp, slivers of excitement into my chest as I stand in the doorway. Daggers of trepidation flash in my direction. Her vermillion lips are alternately screaming rusty obscenities or wailing for deliverance. They must be silenced. I carefully slip my sweaty hand under her tense neck and plant a passionate kiss. My ears are still ringing with the screams, oh those exceptional inflaming screams. Still kissing, I slowly brush the sleeves of her lacy dress down her rosy arms until I can glimpse the coral brassiere straps.
But, she bites! Ruby razor shards of disgust pierce my brain. With scarlet vision I grab the charcoal-black duct-tape and with a sickly, scratchy twist, tear of a piece and plaster it over her mouth. Her eyes are now begging forgiveness.
The knife jumps into my hand and nauseated I start slashing. My hand turns hot and sticky with blood. Crimson droplets fall in slow-motion and congeal on terracotta tiles.
I really must stop cutting myself.
