I like how she’s much much cooler than he is. Great dialogue and it keeps the tone of the prequel intact. (Sidebar: I think a word is missing in the last sentence of the second-to-last paragraph. “winced as nearly hit a parked Scion.”)

The first line is great, and creates an amazing visual. Also, TBS is correct, that line is missing a pronoun.

I am hereby awsomely suggesting we amend your LoA title to include “Master of Dialogue and Details,” because it’s true and it sounds snappy, to boot.
