The Not So Secret, Everlasting Crush: Part 9

I stood in the girls bathroom with Massey.
“Thanks,” she said as she looked down at the red stain on her sweatshirt.
“You said I could do anything!”
“I know, it worked. Well, sort of. He laughed but gave you a thumbs up. What does that tell you?” When Jason gave me the thumbs up I felt as if I were queen of the world. I didn’t feel proud that I did that to Massey but I got him to laugh. Does that count?
“Really, I’m sorry.” I said. Massey nodded.
“It’s okay. At least he looked at me,”.
“Yeah.”
“And now it looked like I tie dyed this shirt, sweet!”
We walked out of the bathroom and went back to the cafeteria. It was snack time, once again. But, Jason didn’t give a care to bother with us. Not even to say hi or accidentally bump into me again. He did look at me, though. Was this a sign or something? Was he just looking at me because he thought I was weird or something? Was he so called “checking me out”? This was confusing. VERY confusing.
