Winter knew Jay was keeping something from her. She was kind of confused though. Usually Jay told her everything.

Now that she thought about it, about 3 weeks ago, Jay had liked April, but as soon as Winter mentioned that April might like him too he said he didn’t like her anymore.

“Why wouldn’t I be nice to you? I am your best friend!” Jay was so sweet.

“Well I was just wondering because no one, other than Rob, treats me this nice.” It was completely true.

“Why do you think Rob treats you the way he does?” Jay was always trying to get Winter to answer deep questions.

“I’m not quite sure… Wait. Wow. I can’t believe I didn’t see this before. I feel so… stupid. Jay i figured it out.” Winter was about to start crying again.

“What Winter, what did you figure out?” Jay loved Winter’s name, he would use it whenever he could.

“Why Rob is being so nice to me… It’s because… because… he’s just using me to get to APRIL .” Now Winter was all out sobbing on Jay’s sholder.
