Everything was going great. School was a breeze and summer vacation was around the corner once again. Nick and I started to spend a lot more time together and we actually started writing songs together. Everything was great, until that day.
I was just getting back from Katie’s house when my phone rang. It was starting to rain but I didn’t care. So, I answered.
“Hello?”
“Hey,”. It was Nick. But he didn’t sound so Nick like. His usual happy voice wasn’t what I was hearing.
“Whats up?”
“Well, I just had to run something by you,”.
“Okay,”.
“Well you know how Joe, Kevin, and I are going on tour soon?”
“Yeah.”
“And you know that I’m going to be meeting so many other girls.”
“Yeah, I know.”
“And you know that we’re going to be apart for a while,”.
“Yes Nick, I know. I don’t have a problem with that. I understand completely. It’s funny, you sound like you want to break up with me,”. I laughed a little. Sometimes he was so mysterious.
“Well, ummm, that’s what I was getting to….”.
