“I.. But..” I wishpered as Angela held me back. I was looking hopelessly at Dailey. “Why..?”

“Anya.. This may be hard to hear.. and I am going to have to tell James once he calms down.. But you, and him, can control the things you need to.. It would take a lot of work and you both would have to sever your minds from each other forever.. But it is possible. The other problem is a severed mind leaves you both twice as weak. Permentatly.” Dailey explained quickly. He then turned and ran after James.

“Angela.. I don’t want to split from James. I love him..” I said looking into her eyes and unconsiously opening my mind towards James. I wasn’t sure if he heard what I had said, but I did feel him calming already.

“Anya.. my girl, let me bring you somewhere to rest ok? Your training can resume in the morning when you are not weak.” Angela becan helping me towards the palace. The whole way I just nodded and focused on how James was feeling because he wouldn’t let me talk to him.
