The Beggining of Joy
She sat on her little star, her feet searching for the ground that wasn’t there. A few tears meandered down her cheek as she thought of her daddy, and mommy before she had died.
A small flurry of activity caught her eye, and she wiped them to make the blurriness go away.
It was the stars! They were moving around, making pictures, small little memories of her life.
There was her making a sandcastle with mommy! It was huge! Daddy was laughing at her when she put some seaweed on her head.
She giggled when she remembered that, and watched as the stars kept moving, putting together memory after memory of her short life.
She gazed at the stars in wonder for hours, as they put together a puzzle of joy for her.
