I just got into to this ficlet writing, and I’m finding it great fun. Here are many promising writers, and some really bad ones. Both the good ones and the poor ones need encouragement, the good ones to sharpen their craft and the poor ones to take up a different hobby. I realize that it’s very hard to tell someone their effort is wasted, however if you send them a comment and not tell them the truth you are not helping them. Tell them what’s good with their story, but don’t soft pedal the bad, they need to know if they are going to improve.
