Surprise, Surprise, Surprise
I stormed out of her house. I was beyond words at this point. I just couldn’t deal with her using me.
“Ugh!” I screamed once I was out of her house. I didn’t go home, how could I face my mom like this? I’d just end up saying stuff I didn’t mean. So I ended up at my old elementary school’s playground, dragging my one toe in the dirt under the swing I was sitting on.
“Jay?” A male’s voice called out.
I look up in totally surprise and it layers my voice thickly, “Ron?!”
“Yeah man, who else?” He asked jogging up to me.
“Why are you here?” I asked, anger fuming inside me.
“Winter called, said you may be here and you may need someone to talk to other then her.” He answered once he had reached me.
What? That completely surprised me. “She always did know me best..” I mumbled.
“Jay, she really likes you. Can’t you see it? The whole school knows you like each other except you two!” Ron exclaimed.
My mouth just dropped from total shock.
