I am The Book it read. My function is not to be read, but to be written. The reader is the author, protagonist, antagonist and drives the story. The reader does not write, but wishes the plot into existence. In short, I grant the holder wishes, but there are rules.

1. One can not impeded on the free will of another creature.
2. The Book can not impede the laws of physics, this includes time travel.
3. Wishes have consequences, which must be taken into account, when activated.
4. One cannot wish the non-existence of The Book.
5. Wishes are non-retractable and cannot be undone by preceding wishes.
6. Failure to meet minimum wish quotient will result in a Default status. DO NOT DEFUALT .
