“I know it’s kind of early is ask,” said my best friend, Liza. We were both totally boy crazy. That’s the only subject we talked about.
“But, I was wondering who’d you like to go to prom with?” I stopped dead in my tracks. This was the hardest question! I looked at all the boys around me. Kevin the star quarter back of our school football team, the Wild Cats, was adorable. Josh, the sweet n’ shy guy, was totally my type. Paul, the captain of the basketball team was so cute. And Max who was in the student counsel, was only seen in my dreams. I had no clue! I suddenly glanced to my right, and I saw somebody who wasn’t seen in my dreams. But then why did I think he was cute?
“Who’s that?” I randomly asked Liza.
“Stacey!” she said in shock. “That’s Matt, he’s in the chess club, is teacher’s pet, and has no friends what so ever!” Wow. I had no clue someone so nerdy could be just so cute. I knew I was getting myself in to trouble….
