Amethyst Frontiers: Captain Vargus
“Locke?” said the eldest of the men.
“That’s right? Captain Trianna Locke!”
“Well, i’ll say the stock of Alliance captains has gone up!”
“Nice!” scowled Trianna, “Who’s in charge here. We answered a distress comm.”
The greying elder put his gun down, with his eyes firmly on the Grennan creature, “I am Captain Julius Vargus. Captain of the Karama.”
“The Vargus,” Locke smiled.
“That’s me,”
Extending her hand, she took a step forward. “It’s an honor sir!”
The captain refused the pleasantries, “You didn’t answer my other question, captain, why is thing thing alive on my ship!?”
“We meant no harm. Only research. Only hello!” Tarn pleaded, “you attacked us!”
Vargus jabbed an angry finger at the grey thing, “That thing’s ship materialized out of nowhere, disabling my ship before i could raise deflectors. We were sitting ducks!”
“Phase-Wake. We have no weapons!” Tarn said.
There was worry on Vargus’ face.
“If you’re here that means you’re docked. And that means,”
”...we’re trapped too,”
“Shit!”
