Eve and Isaac sat on the couch while the water in the shower sputtered to life.

“Can you believe him?” Isaac broke his silence.

“No. But, maybe it’s shock,” Eve tried to reason.

“I don’t think so,” Isaac leaned his head back, “it was more like, I don’t know, relief.” He sighed heavilly.

“Maggie must be freaking out right now,” Eve muttered.

Isaac closed his eyes and sighed, “I thought she was heading over here. Why did she end up over there anyway?”

“Jealous much?” Eve teased in spite of the situation, “I think she was checking his mail, actually.” She sighed, “I just hope she doesn’t mention the fact that she’s been looking for him.”

Isaac scoffed, “Maggie’s not stupid Eve. Hell, she helped me get in at the Va..”

He stopped mid breath because Eve had her fingers pressed firmly to his adam’s apple, “You took her! And you didn’t even call to tell me that you were going!”

Josh opened the door to find Eve atop Isaac, “Is there something you two need to tell me,” he grinned.
