Chapter 1
Kylie was a girl who always looked for adventure. She loved to build tree houses and go exploring in the woods behind her house. But, this was normal. Nothing extraordinary ever happened to her. But that was about to change.
Kylie had gone farther in to the woods than ever before, and she was getting a little nervous. The air felt still here, with no breeze as there was closer to home. There was a felling up on a hill not 20 paces from her. The trees were rotted and old, decaying. She had a feeling that someone was watching her, following her. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end.
As she slowly walked up to the felling, the feeling got intense. This was a little creepy. At the top of the hill she stopped and peered inside a little opening in one of the logs. Then she fainted.
