“Flight A13 now boarding!” called a woman over the loud speaker.
“We gotta go!” I said to Nick, Joe, and Kevin.
“Yeah, lets go,” said Nick, grabbing my hand. Joe nodded but then he turned pale.
“Where’s Katie?” he asked. We all shrugged.
“Didn’t she go to the bathroom?” asked Kevin. I nodded,
“She’ll make it,”. We started off towards the plane. We couldn’t miss our flight. Then I remembered last Christmas. That was a disaster!
We got onto the plane and took our seats. Maybe going to camp wasn’t going to be so bad. I mean, I wouldn’t have to sit at home and listen to my parents fight all day long. And I would be with my best friends. If Katie made it out of the bathroom, that is.
“Everyone, please turn off your cell phones and buckle up. We are ready for take off. Please sit back and enjoy the flight!” said the flight attendant. I buckled up and starred out the window.
“Let’s hope this camp is as good as we thought,” said Nick. I nodded.
“Well, here’s the beginning to our Perfect Summer!” I said.
