fly away.

“I hope that someday I’ll find someone that loves me as much as you love her.”
I said sincerely.
I loved him.
That was the honest to god truth.
The thing was, he loved her, so I made myself accept it.
He smiled sweetly.
“I know you will.”
I looked up at him, trying to mimick his expression.
“I’m happy for you.”
I whispered.
“it means everything to hear you say that Kirsten.”
He said honestly.
“I know you two will be happy.”
My eyes were so foggy I couldn’t see his expression.
He leaned over to hug me.
i broke out into a sob.
“Promise me you’ll come visit.”
“I promise.”
He said reasuringly.
I was happy that he found someone that he loved, because I just wasn’t that person for him, but I didnt understand why he had to leave.
She wanted to go back to her hometown in New Zealand, and nothing could keep him away from her.
He let me go, and went to go catch his flight.
“Bye Oliver, I love you.”
I whispered.
He couldn’t hear me.
