All Dressed Up with Nowhere to Go but Home
I pushed Eric away from me.
“What?” He growled at me. I shot him a look that shut him up instantly.
“Mara’s leaving.” I told him.
“So?” He asked, and began kissing my neck again trying to get my attention.
“So?! That means so am I.” I moved his arms off me and walked away. I knew he would just move on to some other girl here. It shouldn’t bother me because we haven’t been a couple in months, but it did deep down.
I flew out the front down, “Mara?”
“Haha, I knew you’d follow me Vick.” She laughed.
“Are you ok?” I asked, looking her over.
“Peachy.” She flashed her perfect smile at me.
“Your terrible!” I laughed rolling my eyes at her. She faked a pout, her lower lip trembling ever so slightly.
“Can we just go home?” Mara whined.
“Fine. But my house, your have not satisfied your time away from home yet!” I laughed heading to the car with her.
“Sounds good.” Mara said once we were in my car. I rolled my eyes at her.
“The party was lame anyways.” I said, disguising my hurt.
