Trial And Err-Wait, I Actually Didn't Mess Up This Time
any results yet. Right as she dropped in an all-white kitten, she noticed something moving in the green goo. Unlike all the others which had died in the waste, it seemed like there was one kitten who had finally had enough sense not to keel over.
Immediately ceasing to drop kittens, she leaned in closer, and, just as she thought she had imagined the movement, a gigantic paw burst through the surface. It was dripping in green, but it looked nice and big.
She smiled delicately and jumped down 30 ft, landing gracefully on the edge of the vat. She extended her hand to the paw, petting the fur, and she heard (and felt) a deep purr that seemed to make the entire warehouse vibrate.
Then, with one word, she summoned the beast.
“Come.”
The colossal paw disappeared for a second, and then, a moment later, the monster bounded out of the vat and landed on the other side of the room. It sprinted back to the woman, and bowed its titanic calico head. This time, she grinned.
“Excellent.”
