Reflect My Heart (Part 3)

James shook his head. HE was nervous to switch schools too, but his sister was losing it.
“Cait, you okay?” She simply nodded, and stared at her trembling hands. HE shrugged and pulled into an empty parking space up front. “Look,” James said, turning the car off and turning to her in his seat, “You’ll be fine. Wanna have lunch together or something until you meet somebody to hang out with?” He seemed genuine enough today, so Caitlyn smiled. “I’d love to. Thanks James,” she said, grabbing her stuff and hopping out of his car.
First period was bland. Math was never Caitlyn’s favorite subject, and obviously it wasn’t the favorite subject of any of her classmates either.
“Hey,” a girl with bushy red hair whispered next to her. The teacher droned on and Caitlyn smiled. “Do you happen to have a pencil I can borrow? I’ll give it back after class.” Caitlyn searched through her bag and the girl continued. “I’m Tracy by the way.” “Caitlyn,” she whispered in return as she handed her the pencil.
