the truth?
I didnt get the warm feeling I did before. The need to stay completely still replaced it.
“Ben?” I asked without thinking. This person didnt look like him. Not at all.
He stared at me for a minute, than shook his head furiously, like he was trying to wake up from a bad dream. When he looked at me again, his eyes were lavender, and all my fear was gone. Maybe I imagined it.
“Kirsten?” He asked, a bit too suprised to see me.
“Hi. Should I not have come?” I asked a bit sullen.
“Not my woods. They beong to mother nature. Im just a bit suprised as to why you’re out in weather like this. Looks like a storms coming.” He smiled, but it wasn’t the same. He was holding something back.
“You looked different.” I muttered.
He didn’t answer, just kept looking at the sky.
“I told you my story, maybe its about time I heard yours.” I pressed.
“I only just met you.” He said, mostly to himself.
I didn’t know what to say.
“I wish i could tell you.” He said quietly.
“I really do like you.” He smiled in a strange way.
