Bael answered, “Phase theory states that the outer-ring of the phase-hull must touch the dimentional-point-of-origin. Each dimention contains its own cosmic signature. By feeding the Phase Drive particals from our own space, the drive remains phase locked on our universe.”
Tarn smiled, “Like compass,”
“I think I understand,” Locke said.
“The Ramscoop absorbed Ezo-Cadien Isotopes vented by the Karama, and injected it directly into the Core,” Karapanov said.
Bael looked up at the russian and nodded, “Yes. It destabilized the phase matrix and created an inverted phase field; a pocket of unstable space. The Lemrock is trapped in Phase, so long as the Karama is here, my people are trapped,” the small grennan mouth frowned, “And so are yours.”
“So we blow up the ship and the rift is sealed?” Morris put in.
Tarn nodded, but said, “But your physiology not like phase.”
