What's Her Face?: Part 12

I took a deep breath as we got closer to Alexia’s bunch of friends. I mean, they all looked so cool, just talking to one another and laughing. I tried to put on my “Oh, I don’t really care,” kind of attitude but I ended up twitching and doing a sort of shaky nerve dance. Weird, I know.
“Hey guys,” said Alexia as she pulled me into the small circle all of “them” had formed. They all turned around and starting starring at me.
“Hi,” said an insanely cute guy, who apparently was looking at me. I turned to Alexia who was deeply engaged in a conversation with yet another cute guy.
“Ummm,” I said, whipping my head around, accidentally whacking the boy with my pony tail. My eyes widened.
“S-sorry I’m H-h…,” I mumbled. I was never good with guys, and especially the good looking ones. I mean, I didn’t have trouble talking to the math geeks because there was really nothing you could say would make you nerdier than them.
“Having trouble getting around the school, wanna show her around?” said Alexia, butting in.
