I growled again and was getting up to run over and squeeze Oaikil’s neck until his purple eyes pop right out of his head, but two guards came and held me down. Oaikil laughed at my attempts before hitting the gavel and speaking, “Now I think we all know why we’re here. Ginkloo here is being charged with inter-species relationships.”
“We are still human, you know! Just with a virus.” I complained. Oaikil waved his hand dismissively at me, but i continued, “And shouldn’t I have a jury?”
“Nope, not for these kinds of trials,” Oaikil’s eyes shone with glee, “Now let’s continue. As you all know these sorts of situations happen all the time. Well, sort of. Usually the human doesn’t let go of their loved ones, and the Sangsue usually end up eating them. But you, Ginkloo, are unique. But, that means nothing I’m afraid. Ginkloo, we sentence you to an asylum in hopes that someone there will be able to fix the wiring in your head. Good day!” And Oaikil stood up and left the room, while my jaw was still open in shock.
