Sangsue- part 21

I didn’t react one bit when my hands were cuffed behind my back and a muzzle over my mouth. These things weren’t necessary because I was going to go anywhere without a fight. There was no fight left in me, not with Bree gone like this. The officers easily got me into the squad car and drove me to the city hall instead of the police department. They led me up the set of stone steps and into a door that led to a courtroom, seating me in a bench facing the judge directly. There was a jury area, but no one filled its seats. I turned my face down, staring at my feet. I heard the sounds of another person taking a spot in the judge’s seat. He was wearing a large cloak, covering all but his mouth. “Hello Ginkloo! How have you been? It’s looks like you have changed quite nicely.” I snapped my head up at the sound of the voice to see the judge smile. The strange thing with this smile was how the one canine tooth was practically missing on the one side. “Oaikil,” I growled angerily.
“How has your new life been anyway?”
