Amethyst Frontiers: Time Passes

Weeks had past since the last communication, and power on the Amethyst was reaching critical levels.
Ethan Frosbeld sat in the mess eating stale pie when his communicator blipped, “Go ahead,”
“Commander, we’re seeing some activity near the Karama,”
Frosbeld stood, pushing the pie aside running at the door, “I’ll be right there, Lucy,”
On his way, Major Laura Brill met him at the lift, “Bridge?” she asked.
“They called you too?”
“Yes,”
“At least something is happening. It’s been nearly 3 weeks since we were sucked in this ‘void’”. Frosty said keying ‘bridge’ on the panel.
“I estimate that only a day has past in the Karama, if that!”
“And how long in real space?”
“Two months, maybe three. It’s hard to say. Time dialation has increased the more the rift collapses on the Karama,”
The door opened showing the bridge. Frosty was out frist,
“Tell me,”
“There are ships seemingly coming out of nowhere surrounding the Karama; shuttles perhaps?”
The engineer eyed the viewer, “Grennan shuttle-craft”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes”
