Consequences 2

She only managed to hold her breath and skirt the crowd that had formed to watch. She broke free glad for the open space and turned around trying to get her barrings. “Of course!” she groaned. She had to go the wrong way out of that corridor and end up with a cat fight and crowd of teens all with blood pumping full force between her and her homeroom. She swore colorfully under her breath. Living as a creature of the night didn’t come without its perks and knowing words to make sailors blush was one of them. She started south down the main hall in hopes of finding a courtyard that would circle her around the right way.
“Excuse me?” a timid looking boy called running after her. She spun around holding up her hand and he stopped. She lowered her hand slowly and with the same speed as her falling hand he approached. “I’m sorry, I should have caught you when you got in today. I’m Todd Wesley. I was assigned to show you the ropes. You’re Lindsey Grandman, right?” She nodded looking him over. This wasn’t good.
