Entry #1 September 1st.. Labor Day 2008

Ah, Labor Day. A holiday where everyone takes the day off, and relaxes with their precious children. Well, not in my book. Let’s start this again. Ah, Labor Day. Yes, an official holiday, yet I am still stuck in the house getting all my school supplies ready for tomorrow.

My little brother Tyler doesn’t have to, he’s too busy frolicking around in our backyard, since he’s only four he doesn’t go to school. But he starts school next year, as all five year old’s do in this lovely state of Texas.

And my older brother James doesn’t have a care in the world that he’s stuck in my quite empty house, since he has no friends that is. And since he enjoys school…and teen rated video games. He’s really excited for tomorrow, since he’s starting High School.

And here I am, sitting here writing in my brand new diary, as my parents are out enjoying a Labor Day Brunch with our neighbors. And tomorrow, will be the first day of middle school.
