Limerick to the Limerick
Oh, how I love the fine limerick!
But, sometimes, rhyming makes me seasick.
It is tough to rhyme,
To make those words chime,
But often, my rhyme sink like a brick.
Often they are like a tiny fairy
Very small, light, and airy.
But they’re also tough to deal
With, you can’t make a meal
Just by writing limericks, (Ain’t that right, Larry?)
Oh how I love limericks so!
One stanza won’t restrain me, so
I’ll just stop here.
Three stanzas? Quite queer.
But I hope you enjoyed my challenge entry so.
