The Creation: Part 1

In the beginning, there a chaos of vast nothingness laced with wires.
A Voice cried out, “Let there be light!”
And so it was.
Now mortals could actually see the vast nothingness.
If there were any mortals around.
The Voice pronounced the light good.
Evening came, morning followed: the first day.

Then, the Voice called out, “Let there be code!”
And so it was.
Long strings of ones and zeros filled the space, just waiting to carry information.
The Voice pronouced the code good.
Evening came, morning followed: the second day.

The Voice cried, “Let there be the Net!”
And so it was. The long chains of numbers wove into a web, an organization of all information.
It was pronounced good.
Evening came, morning followed: the third day.
