Goodnight
A wild wolf howled in the distance. I shivered as a bitter cold breeze swept through my hair. Ben turned to me, his lavender eyes soft.
“Come on, let’s get you home.” He spoke softly. I pulled my sweater tighter around me.
“No, it’s fine. I don’t wanna go,”
He shook his head. Before I knew it his hands scooped me off the ground.
“Close your eyes,” He whispered, like before. I obeyed, my head leaned against his shoulder. Like the time before, he took great bounds, the wind washing over my face.
“We’re here,” I blinked open my eyes, the world a bit fuzzy.
“Did I dose off?” I asked groggily. He nodded and smiled, his sweet smile. I grinned back not able to help myself. He let me down easily, I steadied myself for a second before turning to him.
“I will see you again, right?”
“When you really want me. I will be there,” He rasped simply. “Goodnight Kirsten”
“Goodnight Ben,”
