Elfish dreams part: 6
My feet carried me like wings and I was back on the tree in no time. Tutu was no where to be seen, but I assumed that she was mad with me because I had abandoned her so abruptly.
When I looked to the ocean, it was evident that the ‘ship’ or whatever it was called, was very close to the beach. I climbed down carefully and ran towards the sandy banks. I hid myself behind a tree and watched.
The ship was kind of like a cup, with white sheets hanging off poles that stuck to the top of the ship. It seemed to be made of wood and it was MASSIVE ! How did it float on water? Was it magic? I didn’t know.
And then, as it reached the shores, I saw them.
People.
For the first time in my life, I was looking at humans. Actual humans.
They were all different. Short, tall, skinny, fat, different hairs and eyes and even their skin was all different shades. I watched in wonder as they slowly got off the ship and walked around on the unspoilt beach.
