In The Doorway(part 11)

Oh Lord, why did he have to show up at the most random moments!
Travis smiled and waved. He stood in the doorway of the women’s dressing room. His dark eyes warm and happy.
“Chelsie!” He called. I forced a smile and gently waved back. I could just barely see Liz beside me beaming away. “That looks beautiful on you,” He spoke, I watched his lips open and close, my breathing speading up. My cheeks flushed.
“Oh, um, thanks. Cousin’s sixteenth birthday,” I replied. He nodded and looked away.
“Can we have coffee later, I’d like to talk to you,”
I stared at him for a couple heart beats, trying to let his words melt in. Suddenly I could feel my head nodding.
“Sh,sure”I stuttered. “Just a sec, okay?” He smiled and turned away. I took a deep sigh and gently turned to Liz. Her green eyes were huge and knowing.
“Will you be okay?” She inclined her head gently. I turned away and softly whispered
“I hope to God, yes” Then I slid into the stall and went to change into yet another dress, my head buzzing.
