I stood frozen on the spot for another minute before coming back to life with a squeak and rushing into the building. But Ginkloo was already there, walking towards Jackson. Now when Jackson turned around he acted like all the rest of us do when a Sangsue is right behind you: run. But Ginkloo calmly held him back and began talking to him. I slowly crept from behind the rock where I was hiding and walked towards the now growing group of people. As they heard more and more they began shaking their heads and glaring at me. Jackson finally looked at me hesistated, and then walked up to me, “Bree, we have heard awful news from this Sangsue. He has told us that around 10 years ago you were the one to break the arch we had created awhile back to keep the Sangsue locked up.”
“But-but I was being chased…”
“He told us of the circumstances. But we feel that the circumstances don’t change the facts. You made them all come back. And I think it’s best you pack up and move on from here.”
