I sighed, Tyler was right. We talked a little longer but then I was called down to dinner. Well now’s as good a time as any..

“Dad…” I began.

“Yeah?” He answered looking up at me.

“Well, I’ve been talking to this guy for a while… he lives in Georgia and I met him in New York… and he is just sooo amazing! Mom met him to and thinks he’s relaly sweet. And she talked to his parents! I was wondering if I could go down to Aunt Cheri’s until his school starts up.” I said all on one breath.

“Well.. I don’t know, I’d have to think about it…” He said. And that was that, I dropped it.

After dinner, I went back up to my room.

“Rose?” He opened my door and I looked up. “Your mom and I talked it over… And we called Aunt Cheri… We’re gunna let you go.”

“Oh my God!” I screamed and jumped up to hug him. “Thank you!!”
