A not so invitation.
“FIne.” I said frustrated.
“He looked up at me, and tried not to laugh.”
“What?” I barked.
“You make the stupidest faces when you’re mad.” He was in a spout of laughter now.
“No I don’t!” I whisper-yelled embarassed.
“Oh yes you do.”
I knew that I did. He didn’t have to say it though.
“Do you always change the subject in akward situations?” I asked slightly amused.
“Yes.” He answere smiling.
At least i cheered him up a little.
“What are your plans today- well after school of corse.” He asked akwardly.
“I’m grounded.” I said, shocked by the question.
“damn, I wanted to hand out. I have nothing to do today.”
I hated the way Jessie asked a question. he always tacked on something like “cause you’re my last resort.” It took away all desire to go.
“Too bad.” I said sarcastically.
“What about tomorrow?” He asked hopefully.
“I dont know.”
