Shadow looked down at the pop quiz and, with a soft sigh, tore it to pieces and threw each one of them at the biology teacher, “Next time you feel like giving a pop quiz make it over things that we have gone over already!”

The teacher, Mrs. Somebody, who was due to give birth to a baby boy in the next few months, just sighed and moved on with whatever it was that she was doing. This had become a normal routine, nobody in the class, except the nerdy kids, seemed to like her at all.

“Shadow, what are you doing?” Claire, his best friends since middle school, sounded worried.

“I’m sick of this, she constantly gives us a hard time and-” as he spoke Claire had managed to get close enough to press her lips to his, cutting him off. “What was that for?”

“Because, I really care about you, I’m sick of you not seeing that. Why do you think I am the only one in this school that can stand you? You act like such a bad and touch kid, but I’ve known you long enough to know otherwise Shadow-kun.â€?
