Freezing Water
Mist swirled, leaves stirred, my heart beat. I could barely feel my finger tips, my teeth chattered and my hair lay frozen against my head. A breeze blew back the mist for a while, I could just make out a prefectly scalpted face. I gasped as he swam toward me.
“Do not be afraid Lena. It’s just me,” He whispered. I heard his familliar voice, but I still backed away. Suddenly I felt my legs give away as my feet slid on the slippery stones below. I shreiked in shock as the water went over my head. For a moment all I felt was the numbing pain of the ice cold water. Then I felt sturdy hands grab my freezing body and bring me to the surface. I curled into a tight ball as I felt him hull me to the bank.
Finally I opened my eyes and looked into his green eyes.
“What do you want!” I screamed, pulsing hot tears mixing with the water streaming off my body. My fiance’ held me close as I violently fought, screaming and sobbing at the same time.
“Shh Lena, I love you,”
I shook my head and wouldn’t listen.
