Residing Dreams (Chapter 89)

As I packed for the trip, my father said that I needn’t bring all of my belongings. “Mr. Chrysanthemum will have a room already set up for you,” my father told me. I was pleased with the idea of travelling light. All I packed were some of my clothes, blank notebooks for writing in, my rainbow blanket, a ball of yarn, my two headed stuffed dog Elle and Daisy, a few books and magazines, and the ornament that January gave me. In the end, all I had filled were one suitcase and a shoulder bag. My father had also insisted on packing me a lunch for the trip. I had deemed this silly, as I could always get some food that they had on the plane. I guess it was one of his ways of saying good bye.
