Residing Dreams (Chapter 101)

“The Chrysanthemum estate is straight ahead,” Mr. Brown informed. The gates opened for us and we drove on. Up a narrow road was something thatblew my mind. Was I going to stay at Buckingham Palace? The house was a mansion, and it looked about three centuries old. Yet it was not at all run down, but exponentially grand and spendid. I was at a loss for words. I merely gasped at the sight of it. “Here we are,” Mr. Brown said. “Does he live here? All by himself?” I asked. “No, his staff lives here as well. You will see very much of them.” “Oh.” As the driver parked the car, a man opened the door of the car for me. “Thank you,” I managed to say. Another person took my bags and carried them up the massive marble steps. I noticed that the mansion was just as magnificent up close as it was from afar. The huge front doors were opened for us, and I carefully stepped inside. Fate has brought me here, and destiny will bring me home, I thought.
