Waking Up
The frantic eyes suddenly zoomed out to show Aedin’s frantic face with what seemed to be a hint of a red glow in his cheeks. “I can explain why your lips felt cold!” he suddenly blurted out. “What are you-?” started Kamaria as she tried to sit up.
Suddenly her chest hurt, and the room started spinning. She started to fall forward when she felt someone catch her. Her face blushed as they held the position for a second before Aedin helped her sit up straight. “Don’t move so fast. You’ve been asleep for about two days.”
“TWO DAYS ?!” excalimed Kamaria and felt dizzy again. “Hey! I told you to take it easy. Here, drink this,” said Aedin as he brought up a glass of blood to her lips. The moment it entered her mouth, her thirst came back in full force and she gulped it down. Already she was starting to feel better, but she was craving more.
“Wow, I was not expecting that,” said Aedin, “I’ll go grab you another one,” and with that, he left the room. As soon as he left, Kamaria took in her surroundings.
