I like the idea here, I think. But there are some things that make it less enjoyable. “Here” should be “hear.” “Where” should be “were.” And it would be “we writers” instead of “us writers.” And I’m not sure the “of” in the last line is necessary. You also but “angles” for “angels” in one case. Common mistakes, so not a big deal. All together, pretty good, though.
