Existence

Random blabber.

That’s what i called it when Mike talked. It was like listening to nothing in word form. Honestly i don’t know how much more pathetic it could get.

Girls, school, homework, family. I stared at the resting sun, setting into a perfect hidden sleep until tomorrow. A sigh so heavy it could have weighed a million words left my dry mouth.

“So she hasn’t even let me-” I cut Mike off with a soft yet harsh voice. I interrupted, “What is existence Mike?”

Mike stopped his blabber before replying, “What the hell Jake? You, you sit there for like half an hour without sayin’ nothin’, then randomly drop a Q-bomb like that?”

“Q-bomb?”

“A big, serious question.”

Mike made up his own words in the middle of discussion a lot. “Well i was just thinking about it,” i added.

“Well hell, how should i know? Isn’t that like livin’ in real life or somethin’?” He guessed. “No, i know the definition, but what does it mean?” i asked again.

Mike just stared at me. Another sigh erupted out of my mouth.

Blabber.*
