Middle School Mayhem: Part 3
As I walked in the building I took a deep breath. Ew. The hallways smelt like big kids. And bad breath. Don’t ask why, I don’t even know.
I started to walk down the hallway Everyone was looking at me like I had three heads. It was so unfair. They once were in my shoes. Well, I’m sure they didn’t fall on their first day of school, or scratch up their knees and rip their new sweaters, but you get the point.
I was surprised they couldn’t hear my heart beating. It was throbbing in my ears.
I looked down at my knees. They looked pretty bad but they weren’t bleeding anymore. Right at that moment, I crashed into an eight grader. It figured, he cursed as he dropped all his books and looked at me straight in the eyes.
“Watch where you’re going, kid,” he said, picking up his books and shoving me out of the way. Everyone laughed as I stumbled over. This was going to be a long day.
