The Dove of Steel (40)

The arrow had lodged itself part the youthful Judge’s armor and straight into his right arm. The Judge gave out a howl of pain; he had probably ever taken an arrow in his life.
Isaac pulled the Judge up from his stupor and cried,

“Comon, fight through the pain, I think I see a place where we can hide!â€?

The Judge was weak, but one look into those purple eyes whose ice had melted, gave him the inspiration of fear he needed to continue. Together, with Isaac holding the Judge up with his arm, they limped further away from the arrows, heading towards what appeared to be a cave ahead. They almost arrived, yet Isaac could hear the next volley coming their way, they wouldn’t make it.

Though Isaac had another idea. In a great feat of Cetran strength, Isaac flung himself and Judge Sulkoske into the cave, tumbling their way into the icy sand, sending snow into the air with a brief whirlwind of ice.
Isaac quickly got up, and dragged the Judge deeper into the unknown cave.
