The Dove of Steel (39)

“Go!”

Isaac yelled as the wooden shaft darted past his ears.Judge Sulkoske was confused,, looking as far as he could to see if he could see his opponent.

“You idiot! Don’t let them get another shot! Go!”

With that order, Isaac pushed him forward with all of his might, which was more than enough to get the Judge to move again.

The Judge began to run, but Isaac was right, the young Judge couldn’t move with any haste. Arrows were like rain now, as dozens, maybe even hundreds of arrows came at them in a never ending volley of chaos.

Most of the arrows missed, but some of them struck true, piercing Isaac’s back with that familiar sting of pain. However, pain had never stopped him, so he kept running, trying to make sure he didn’t leave the metal case behind him in the snow.

“Start taking off your armor, we need to run!”

To this the Judge gave an exhausted reply,

“No, I can’t, I can’t lose this. Its my honor its my symbol of-”

Before he could finish, an arrow struck him dead on.
