The Dove of Steel (38)
“She’s gone, I don’t even know where she went. But judging by her footprints, I’d say she’s gone to where we were supposed to investigate, north.” Judge Sulkoske said in an hasty tone.
“But how did she-” Isaac started.
“Never mind that, we need to go, now!”
With that the Judge began to walk towards the north at fast pace.
He can’t run in that armor, he looks tired just walking in it, like he’s never used it outside of the Font of Law…
With this thought in mind, Isaac darted towards him, and tried to keep up his pace with him, though Isaac, wearing lighter armor, wanted to go much faster. He could see the strain it was putting on the Judge’s body, even though it was made of the second lightest metal known.
Those marks on his armor, they seem old, but he’s so young, which makes me think that he hasn’t even seen battle. Who made this guy a Judge?
However, this train of thought was cut off by the sound of an arrow, a large one at that, whizzing by his head. It was a warning shot- their last one.
